"Gita Talk" on Elephant Journal!

It's been rather quiet in my blog world this month. I've been through a few changes: husband coming home from Kuwait, mother-in-law passing away, adjustments that go with both, and some get-away travel.

However, THIS came to my attention and I just wanted to share what a great opportunity it is!

Yoga Demystified's Bob Weisenburg is doing an on-line discussion of the Bhagavad Gita on Elephant Journal! This is really a beautiful text and worth reading. Please come and join in!

Bhagavad Gita

Perhaps if this works out Bob will explore the idea of doing other texts. How cool would that be?

Thank you for passing this link along! I read The Living Gita and thought the commentary was great. I am excited to know that I can revisit it when I'm ready with a new translation and deepening outlook.

So sorry for the loss of your mother-in-law.

Hi, Kristin. Thanks so much for blogging about "Gita Talk". The discussion has been going great! I hope your readers will join us there. I can guarantee them a personal response to any comment or question.

Funny you should mention the other texts. I actually originally envisioned this as "The Big Three Ancient Yoga Texts", with the Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, and the Yoga Sutra. But I decided I'd better see if I can make one book work first!

But by all means, after fifteen weeks of the Gita, if people are hungry for more, we'll definitely be doing the others.

Thanks again.
